Facebook gives you the names of your most naive friends
The social network launches new features to combat the spread of false information on its platform.
Finally a tool to find out who your most credulous contacts are. In the middle of the Cambridge Analytica scandal , Facebook is trying to talk a little more about things by unveiling Tuesday a new series of measures to fight misinformation on its platform.
For now only available in the United States, the system will allow you to find the source of information posted on your newsfeed.
When one of your contacts shares a link to an article, a new “information” icon will appear with details about the original site, a selection of articles on the same subject to judge its reliability, as well as where it is shared in the world and finally its popularity.
This last feature is supposed to give an idea of the spread of information in the world.
