Facebook will add the ability to delete sent messages
The announcement comes after discovering that some Facebook executives were already able to do it …
According to Bloomberg Technology, Facebook is preparing to introduce a feature that allows Messenger users to delete messages already sent.
According to TechCrunch, Mark Zuckerberg and some Facebook executives would already have this feature as three sources report that former Facebook messages from Zuckerberg in person have disappeared from their Facebook inbox as well as from the “Download Your Information” archive while their answers remain.
According to Facebook, this would have been implemented after the Sony hack of 2014 and it would be a matter of corporate security but a spokesperson for the social network told Bloomberg
“That a larger message deletion feature will be available. This may take some time “before adding:”
Until this feature is ready, we will no longer delete messages from frames. We should have done that sooner and we are sorry that this is not the case. ”
Perhaps this is finally good news for the protection of our privacy?
