MIT has a device that reads in thoughts
The future is now. Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have developed a device that
“allows humans to converse with machines, artificial intelligence, services, and other humans without voices, open mouths, and observable movements, only by vocalizing internally”.
Alter Ego is its name, uses electrodes to capture the electrical language signals induced by movements of “internal articulators of language”.
The audio feedback is through headphones via bone conduction. Yes, it’s crazy.
